These raw bliss balls are delicious, easy and fast to make. You will need a food processor

  • 1 shot of coffee (optional – omit if you do not want a hint of coffee taste)
  • pitted dates x 15*
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup almond meal
  • 2/3 cup desiccated coconut or shredded coconut + more to cover if covering in coconut
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder + more to cover if you want to cover with cacao

  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until all is well mixed. Scrap the sides and pulse again.
  2. Remove the blade from the processor bowl. Using your hands, make small balls (I do about 3cm+ diameter). Roll the balls in desiccated coconut or cocoa, to taste.
  3. Enjoy!

The balls will last a few days in the fridge, but they never last long in my house 🙂

*You can use pitted dates that come in a packet, they are significantly cheaper that fresh dates. If the dates appear dry, you may want to soak them in hot water for a few minutes, then drain them well, by pressing the water out. usually a fresh paquet will be fine without the need to soak.
